How To Receive Salvation
Importance Of Repentance And Salvation
Repentance
You must be Godly sorry that you have sinned against Jesus Christ. Repentance means to turn from sin; to change one’s mind is true repentance. The turning must be both in heart (emotion) and mind (thinking). We must both feel sorrow in our hearts and support that sorrow with the resources of our minds. To turn from sin; to change one’s mind is true repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Salvation
The theological study of salvation is called so-te-ri-logy. It covers the means by which salvation is achieved, affected, and its results. Salvation may also be called deliverance of redemption from sin and its effect.
Salvation cannot be attained by your good works; for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast Ephesians 2:8-9.
First step to salvation is to admit you are a sinner. Repent of your sins and believe God raised Jesus from the grave. Next confess Jesus is The Christ, the son of God. This is how to (achieve) it: God loves his people, and He wants a relationship with everyone. But there is a sin problem. Our sins have separated us from God. Jesus solves this and died on the cross. His blood paid the sin penalty for all of us. And the grave couldn’t hold Him. God raised Him from the dead. Sin and death were defeated. And now we can be eternally pardoned from judgment and received into relationship with God. Jesus Christ John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Salvation will (affect) you after you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, and that God raised Him from the dead. You must receive Jesus as the Lord of Your life: The Holy Spirit (Supernatural) enters into your body and this is the beginning of your Salvation. John 3:4-7 Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.
God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:10).

Roman 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus, I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart right now, and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. Amen! You are Saved now.
Your next step is to be baptized in the Water. Baptism in water involved immersed with water is commanded by Jesus after a person believes the gospel. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved Mark 16:16. Baptism in water is an outward action to signify a spiritual cleansing from sin and a symbol of Christ being buried and then raised from the dead.
